POSITION SUMMARY
The Nursing Officer of the National Insurance Scheme – Guyana is responsible for:
• Planning, organizing and controlling the activities of the Medical Department, ensuring that all medical matters are dealt with by the appropriate authorities and that policies, aims, practices, and objectives of the Medical Department and the National Insurance Scheme Organisation are adhered to.
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must possess a University Degree in Nursing, plus the State Registered Nurse (SRN) and State Registered Midwife (SRM) certificates with five (5) to six (6) years relevant experience at a Supervisory level.
A thorough knowledge of the National Insurance Act, Regulations and Amendments thereto, and a high level of Computer Literacy will be assets.
