POSITION SUMMARY
The Research and Information Systems Manager of the National Insurance Scheme – Guyana is responsible for:
• The organizing and controlling the activities of the Division including the development of new or improved technical processes and the utilization of computer resources and statistical methods.
• Participating in research and development work with the Actuary as it relates to forecasting and policy formulation for the National Insurance Scheme.
• Ensuring that the accountability benchmarks as set out by the Board of Directors of the National Insurance Scheme are achieved at all times.
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants should possess at least a post-graduate Degree in Economics or Statistics, plus training in Computer Science, along with five (5) years experience in a related field.
OR
A Degree in Economics /Statistics /Management plus at least ten (10) years experience.
